Refund Policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026
This policy is part of the contract between you and WreckerSync, a product of Digital Stanza (parent company). It applies only to maintenance fees collected through this website (Razorpay payment links and invoices we issue here). It does not apply to the one-time WordPress plugin purchase, which is agreed and paid offline and is not charged on this site.
1. Maintenance is billed in advance
Each paid month or year is a prepaid term for updates, support, licence validation, and (if included) AI chat hosting for that term. Paying does not buy a new plugin copy. It does not guarantee that Pinnacle, eBay, WooCommerce, or hosting will have zero downtime.
2. No cooling-off after the term starts
Once a payment is confirmed and the term is activated, fees for that term are non-refundable, including if you:
- Change your mind, close the workshop, or stop selling parts
- Do not install the plugin, licence key, or widget
- Fail to complete Pinnacle, eBay, or WordPress setup on your side
- Are unhappy with a third-party platform (Pinnacle outage, eBay policy, theme conflict)
- Want a feature we never promised in writing
- Let the subscription expire and later decide you still wanted support
Annual plans are not pro-rated if you cancel mid-year. Unused days are not paid out in cash or credit unless section 4 or 5 applies.
3. What we will refund
We will refund a maintenance payment in full (or the duplicated amount) if:
- You were charged twice for the same invoice or the same term by our error
- We received payment but never activated the term and cannot reasonably activate it
- A payment processor confirms an unauthorised transaction on our merchant account after their investigation
Refunds go back to the original payment method where the processor allows it. Processing can take several business days.
4. Discretionary goodwill
We may, entirely at our discretion, offer a partial credit toward a future term if we failed to provide a material part of maintenance that we had clearly promised in writing for a sustained period, after you gave us a reasonable chance to fix it. A credit is not an admission of liability and is not a cash refund. Silence or delay is not approval of a refund request.
5. Non-excludable law
Nothing in this policy excludes rights you cannot contract out of (including Australian Consumer Law guarantees where they apply to your purchase). If such a guarantee is breached and a refund is the applicable remedy, we will honour that remedy. Our usual position is that maintenance is a business service supplied on described terms, and change-of-mind is not a defect.
6. Chargebacks
Open a support email first: hello@wreckersync.com. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us, or while the service was delivered, is a breach of the Terms. We may suspend licences and AI chat immediately, contest the dispute with processor evidence (invoices, check-in logs, emails), and recover our costs if the dispute is decided in our favour.
7. After expiry — no money back for time already used
When a term ends, plugins we already supplied keep running on your site unless you uninstall them; we simply stop updates and support. AI chat may be switched off. That outcome is how the product is designed. It is not a basis for refunding the term you already used. Returning later requires a new paid term at then-current rates.
8. One-time plugin fee (offline)
Plugin purchase money was never taken by this website. Any refund of that fee is only as written in the offline sale. Do not open a Razorpay dispute against a maintenance charge to recover a plugin fee. We will treat that as an invalid dispute.
9. How to ask
Email hello@wreckersync.com with invoice number, date, amount, and reason. We aim to respond within ten (10) business days. Approved refunds are the sole remedy for overcharge under this policy except where law requires more.
10. Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new version. The date at the top will change. The version in force when you paid a given term applies to that payment, except where law requires otherwise.
